Early Autumn or, My Introduction to Anita O’Day

Just saw Anita O’Day: The Life of a Jazz Singer at The Movies on Exchange here in Portland. It was fabulous. I have acquired some of her songs and herein I upload some choice picks.

And here is an amazing video of her singing Sweet Georgia Brown and Tea for Two at the Newport Jazz Festival in 1958. It gives me goosebumps; I’m not gonna lie to you.
