What to Expect When You’re Expecting TO GET FIRED

I’m going to need to start some kind of anonymous blog soon with which to express my professional viewpoints. There’s so much I want to say and ask about technology and in particular the procedural/bureaucratic issues implicit with working within systems, but out of respect for my organization I feel uncomfortable sometimes freely blabbing about every aspect of my plans; my mistakes and confusion might be important for others, but would reflect poorly when so directly associated, you know?

What are people’s general feelings on this? It’s tricky, right, being a web/”knowledge” worker? Our greatest strength tends to be a strong community of chatty innovators, but it’s also something that’s traditionally frowned-upon. Even I can see that and I am usually completely blind to the ramifications of my seemingly anarchic “improvements” upon existing and entrenched technological systems.
